Our origin
The Forwardist International began as a coordinating meeting between a handful of city chapters that had reached the same conclusion separately: that the decisions shaping their members’ lives were being taken above the level at which they were organised.
What we are
We are an International, not a party with national branches. Chapters keep their own programmes and their own names. What they share is a common programme on the questions that cannot be settled locally — climate, labour standards, migration, and the governance of the institutions that set the rules for all three.
What we are not
We do not run candidates under a single international label, and we do not instruct chapters on local questions.
